Movie Review: Casino Royale

It's not Pierce Brosnan? NO!! I didn't think I'd like that. I was surprised. The movie was as violent as ever, but the other elements typical of Bond were drastically diminished- including the opening sequence. But that's actually not going to be a habit. This is officially the beginning of Bond, James. Thus, his future habits and attitudes are explained in some fasion. His views on relationships weren't always bed all the beautys you come in contact with no commitment desired, and that is refreshing, but that doesn't last for quite tragic reason. I was afraid the poker game would get tedious, but it was intermingled with some interesting plot problems. And the twist at the end is either or....I can't think of two words to describe it. Bond fans should enjoy this. The opening sequence is quite insane. Though it did lack in the car department. That and this bother me: How does he do ALL that running without opening his mouth?? Regardless, the movie left me shaken and stirred.
